Optimization of WEDM Process Parameters in Al2024-Li-Si3N4 MMC

The present study focuses on optimization of operating parameters in wire electric discharge machining AA2024 aluminium alloy reinforced with lithium and silicon nitride particles. Aluminium composite was produced through the two-step stir casting route combination 2% 10% reinforcements. Experiments were performed using Taguchi design experiments to optimize selected input such as pulse time, off current feed for response parameter, material removal rate, surface roughness. An ANOVA-based regression equation genetic algorithm used variables. gray relational grade also multiple performance characteristics. Taguchi-based analysis results domination factor rate Increased increases good finish confirmed from analysis. Regression generated minimum error (<2%) proving accuracy investigation.
